Steep, poor-quality roads and winter weather make it impossible to use anything but a horse-drawn sleigh to reach some houses in the hills of Argel, Moldovita in northern Romania. In this case, traditional transportation is delivering new technology: solar panels and other equipment that will bring electricity to the home of Vasile and Victoria Procopiuc, which is not connected to the grid.
