Stephan • My mother and I built this house together. We did most of the work ourselves, when we had money, we would buy the materials and add something else. The gas stove is behind this wall, so we built in the shelf for a pot to heat water. But it was supposed to be a summer dacha and we ran short of money, so didn't put in central heating. We would keep living in Donetsk during the winters, where we live in a state apartment with district heating. Now we are here all year.
