Pavel (60) built this one-room house himself, on a piece of land received from his aunt in the hills of Moldovita, Romania. It has never been connected to the electricity grid. Recently, Pavel bought a small solar panel for about €50, which provides power for a lightbulb for a couple of hours a day.
